Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) is an organic compound that is used in a variety of industrial applications. Its chemical formula is C2H6O2, and it is also referred to as ethylene glycol or 1,2-Ethanediol. It has an odorless, colorless appearance and is highly stable under normal environmental conditions. MEG has the ability to absorb moisture from the atmosphere and control humidity levels by forming hygroscopic solutions.
